Canani Art is the branded works of Katia Findlay an interpretive artist based in Devon, United Kingdom.

Her first career was an architect working on a wide variety of commercial projects but her first love was and remains painting which she has done since childhood.

After the birth of her daughter, she returned to painting and became a full time artist as a second career.

She is intuitive painter, her artwork is the interpreted observation of nature, the expression of a world beneath the surface, of feelings and individual perception; allowing the aesthete to interpret her paintings for themselves and to perceive it any way they wish to.

She works mainly with the acrylic mediums, which offer her the freedom of building up layers and capturing a sense of energy and power of the nature that she paints.
